Domestic Nanny
Her job is mainly domestic work, but she is very child-friendly and happy to care for school-age children.

or R150 - R160 per day.
Nanny
Her focus is primarily on child-care, but she is also prepared to undertake general domestic duties and possibly cooking.
Usually full-time, 45-50 hours per week, depending on whether the position is sleep-in or out.
Expected salary range:
R3000 – R4000
or R160 – R185 per day.
Child-carer
Her focus is predominantly on child-care, supplemented with a certain amount of light domestic duties.
Can be part-time or full-time.
Expected salary range:
R4000 – R6000
or R200 – R300 per day.
Au Pair
She is responsible for all aspects of a child’s life.
She may work full-time or part-time.
Generally au-pairs use their own cars at a cost of approximately R3 per kilometre when used on duty.
Salaries vary depending on qualifications and experience:
Full-time from R6000 – R8000+
or part-time R50 – R60 per hour.
